The Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor position in the department of BISOM. The candidate must have a good understanding of management information systems (MIS). A background in business analytics, including in programming languages such as R and Python, will be considered a plus. Prior teaching experience in MIS, Business Analytics, or related areas is also desirable.The teaching load consists of four courses per semester, which may include undergraduate or graduate courses in MIS, Business Analytics, and the interdisciplinary Masters in Data Science and Business Analytics. In addition to teaching, the candidate will be expected to engage in research and professional activities appropriate for the rank and to the extent required to meet the College’s Faculty Qualification Standards for Clinical faculty. The candidate will also be expected to engage in appropriate service activities in the Department, the College and the University.The University of North Carolina at Charlotte recognizes the differentiation of mission, goals, and objectives inherent in the diversity of disciplines represented by its colleges and departments.
