The FM Tech Mechanical Trades performs under the direction of the Facilities Management HVAC shop Supervisor.Duties include:Responsible for performing routine maintenance of HVAC, equipment to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and/or the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.Use electrical test devices to troubleshoot and repair HVAC electrical control circuits.Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.Use knowledge and skill with Building Automation Systems (BAS) to complete tasks as needed.Look up and order parts using Google sheets and drive.
