Position: Ladies Department Team Member
Basic Function: This position requires a professional, positive, friendly presence while interacting with guests on the retail floor as well as ensuring that other job duties and responsibilities are being fulfilled. The main task of this position is to interact with guests. Engage them to find out where they are from and how they heard about Unclaimed Baggage Center. Make every effort to ensure that each guest you encounter is having an exceptional shopping experience and if they aren't, understand what you can do to help the situation.
General Responsibilities:

- Be familiar with location of merchandise and help guests locate items
- Keep merchandise on fixtures sized and organized
- Fixtures are to be kept clean and dusted
- Be familiar with Fitting Room procedures and operational practices
- Maintain signage within the department
- Basic function and understanding of the cash register will be required
- Stocking merchandise may be required at times
- Be responsible to carry out discount strategy as the Department Supervisor gives instruction
- Report all suspicious activity or shoplifting to Assistant Manager, Manager or Loss Prevention Officer
- Be accountable for completion of daily task list for department
- All other tasks assigned by management
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Light to moderate lifting is required
- Repetitive motion required
Schedule Hours:
- 38 hours per week, requiring one to begin as early as 7:00 am and stay as late as 7:30-8:00 pm. Flexibility in scheduling is required.
- Saturdays are required
- All major holidays are also a requirement (excluding Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)
- Wednesday and Friday of Thanksgiving Week are required
- Annual Winter & Ski Event (1stSaturday in November) required
- Any special events/promotions are required
Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to Women’s Department Supervisor
