What you’ll be doing:
Found Item Processing:
- Sorting and identifying returnable found items
- Input and classification into a web-based program
- Light to heavy lifting, processing of trash and other waste items,
Shipping:
- Use of shipping software ie. FedEx ShipManager, Stamps.com etc. to ship domestic and international packages.
- Choosing appropriate packaging materials per the item(s) being shipped
- Prioritizing shipping activities to meet deadlines and meet customer expectations
- Following proper shipping reporting procedures to allow for tracking, reporting, and accounting for all shipped items.
General Warehouse Maintenance:
- Following all safety rules and always operating equipment in a safe manner including wearing of appropriate protective devices as needed.
- Keeping a clean and clutter-free work environment.
- Operation of pallet jacks and other light warehouse equipment.
- Disposal of trash, hazardous, and recycled materials per warehouse guidelines.
- Maintenance and cleaning of common areas as needed including break rooms and restrooms.
