Position Summary & Key Areas of Ownership
This role involves performing various tasks associated with production and packaging of products on production lines as assigned. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining efficiency standards based on machine specifications.
Core Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, adjust, and perform minor maintenance on production and packaging machines.
- Accurately complete all production paperwork.
- Maintain knowledge of line cleaning and testing procedures.
- Complete sku changes quickly and efficiently.
- Effectively communicate with production, QA, maintenance, and management staff.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
- Learns Basic Good Manufacturing Practices and Hygiene, work instructions for assigned work areas, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safety Procedures, and Quality at the Source testing and documentation for assigned work areas.
- Works independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with on-the-job training offered.
