Our Bakery Clerks create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Bakery Clerks should be friendly and courteous to customers, working with management and other associates to provide a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Greet all customers and provide prompt and courteous service
- Select bakery goods, box, bag and label each order after weighing for accuracy - label to be placed on each bagged or boxed item
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with our company policy
- Keep floors clean and clear of debris and spills
- Ensure that all department equipment is clean and working properly
- Rotate products to ensure freshness and ensure accurate signage for the department
- Prepare bakery trays for each order to exceed our customer’s expectations
- Other duties and functions as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language
- A great customer service attitude is required with the interest in working with our gourmet baked goods
