We are excited for the growth at our Corporate offices, which is reflective of the growth within our stores! We are actively seeking a professional Merchandising Execution Manager for our Merchandising Department, who will play a critical role in maximizing profitability across all departments at Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace.
This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and analytical skills to oversee production planning, manage cost files, and facilitate cross-departmental collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Production Planning:

- Develop and implement efficient production plans to optimize gross profit while maintaining product quality and availability.
- Monitor production planning metrics and identify opportunities for improvement to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Holiday Playbooks:

- Collect, assemble, and manage comprehensive holiday playbooks, ensuring alignment with company sales goals and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with department leads to create detailed schedules, forecasts, and promotions for key holiday periods
- Cost File Management:

- Maintain, update, and analyze cost files to ensure accurate pricing strategies and margin targets.
- Collaborate with department leads to track cost changes and their impact on profitability
- Cross-Department Collaboration:

- Serve as the primary liaison between all departments to streamline communication and ensure alignment on profit optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with store managers to provide insights and recommendations for improving in-store performance and profitability.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct regular analysis of sales, costs, and profit trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Present actionable insights and detailed reports to senior leadership on gross profit performance and optimization strategies.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and gross profit margins.
- Lead initiatives to standardize processes across all stores and departments.

Requirements
- AS/ BS Degree in Business Management
- 3-5 years of experience working in Merchandising for a large retail grocery store
- Expertise in Business Intelligence and how it relates to benchmarking and increased proficiency
- Strong communication skills with proven ability as a leader
- Strong analytical skills, able to utilize independent judgment and take appropriate actions
- Strong computer skills with the ability to work with different types of reporting. In depth working knowledge of MS Office Suite, with expertise in Excel
- Self motivated with the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
