What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at UNCLE GS MGMT CORP?
Our company is focused on gourmet food for the tri-state area! We are actively seeking an in house FT Recruiter for our culinary division located on the Nassau/Suffolk border. This individual will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment functions.
This is an in office position.
Responsibilities
- Will work with each respective manager's position openings, vetting candidates, conducting phone/virtual interviews, coordinating calendars for in person interviews, presenting offers, onboarding and follow through until candidate start
- Work within our ATS to onboard new hires and track candidate progress
- Interview candidates for each respective position opening and present the well vetted candidates to each manager for their review
- Thoroughly screen all candidates for position functions, requirements for each job, matching their qualifications with the job’s functions and requirements
- Maintain timely communication with managers and candidates throughout the application and hiring process.
- Will present offers to candidates and negotiate salary as directed
- Conduct and review background checks
- Other functions as assigned
Requirements
- AS/BS Degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Recruiter within the food and beverage/culinary environment
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, ATS systems and conducting background checks
- Ability to multi-task, working on many different positions at a time
- Must have exceptional organizational and communication skills
