Counter Person/Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Person to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operation at the counter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess strong communication skills, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions using POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in food preparation and presentation as required, utilizing culinary skills.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding menu items and specials.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Support team members in maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies as necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with retail math and cash handling procedures is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices is essential.
• Experience with POS systems and cash registers is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
