What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Uncle's Fishmarket and Grill?
We are seeking a host/hostess to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional customer service and support in the dining area.
Duties to Include but not limited to:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Take and deliver accurate food and drink orders.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and process payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Uphold high standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
Skills Preferred:
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of food preparation and the food industry.
- Ability to sanitate work areas according to health standards.
- Experience with culinary tasks is a plus.
