Role: Operations Lead
Location: Syracuse or Central NY area (local candidates only)
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 base salary, with total compensation up to $120,000 (inclusive of bonus)
Overview:
This role bridges a leadership gap within a small but high-performing team, driving revenue and improving gross margin. The Operations Lead will oversee sales, marketing and customer experience processes, while executing higher-level business objectives with a focus on communication, collaboration, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth: Oversee lead generation and conversion, including CRM usage, following up on estimates, booking jobs, and pricing strategies.
- Operational Improvements: Identify enhancements and inefficiencies, implement changes, and improve customer experience while driving profitability.
- Sales & Marketing: Strengthen sales processes and develop strategies to improve lead volume and conversion.
- Field Knowledge: Undergo training to understand paving and sealcoating processes and build trust with field teams.
- Leadership Potential: Position has the opportunity to evolve into a senior leadership role based on performance.
- Communication Excellence: Maintain clear and effective communication with both customers and team members to build trust, improve processes, and ensure alignment on goals.
Qualifications:
- Leadership experience with a focus on sales, operations, or business management.
- Hands-on approach with a strong ability to learn and adapt.
- Exceptional communication skills, both with customers and internal teams.
- Experience in home services or similar industries is a plus.
