Job Description
This position is responsible for overseeing and supervising the sales floor in the absence of store management, to ensure an unsurpassed customer experience and maximize the store's profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for modeling sales expectations on the sales floor, as well as motivating, coaching, and assisting in the development of the sales team.
- Supports the store management in the operations of the store, maintaining visual standards on the floor.
- Demonstrate role model and leadership behaviors.
- Exceeds customer expectations by providing a personalized, elevated and memorable shopping experience.
- Opening and/or closing the store and preforming the necessary duties associated with this task.
- Assists with daily tasks as needed, such as cleaning, maintaining merchandising standards, replenishing, and processing friendly and efficient sales transactions.
- Utilizes product knowledge tools, such as look books, brand books, style guides, and provides advanced knowledge of current fashion trends.
- Demonstrates strategic selling techniques such as suggestive selling, clienteling, and styling to build upon every customer transaction both on the sales floor and at the cash wrap.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience preferred
