Job Overview
We’re seeking a licensed and experienced Piercer to join our team! This role is perfect for someone with strong technical piercing skills, a great bedside manner, and a flair for customer service and style. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, professional, and stylish ear piercings while creating a memorable and elevated experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales
- Perform professional ear piercings (primarily lobe and cartilage) with attention to safety, cleanliness and comfort.
- Follow all state and health department regulation for piercing and sanitation.
- Maintain a pristine piercing studio and tools, always ensuring proper sterilization and hygiene practices.
- Educate clients on the aftercare and healing process to promote healthy outcomes.
- Demonstrate product application techniques and best practices.
- Support retail sales and customer engagement when not performing piercings.
Brand Advocacy & Awareness
- Act as a brand ambassador by sharing Uncommon Beauty’s mission and values.
- Conduct in-store events, product demos, and mini facials to showcase products.
- Stay updated on product innovations, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Store Operations & Merchandising
- Ensure product displays are visually appealing and well-stocked.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the piercing studio.
- Process transactions efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.
Education & Training
- Continuously educate yourself and the team on new product launches and piercing techniques.
- Participate in ongoing brand and sales training programs.
Qualifications
- Must hold a Valid up-to-date South Carolina Body Piercing License.
- Minimum 1 year of professional piercing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ear anatomy and jewelry placement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
