The Pre-Kindergarten (PK) Associate Director of Operations (ADOO) is a member of the PK
Site Leadership Team at Uncommon Crown Heights Pre-K and leads the day-to-day operations
of the school. The ADOO will partner on many school leadership initiatives with the school’s
PK Dean and will report directly to the Regional Superintendent of Operations (RSO). Specific
responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Leading all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the school;
- Ensuring the school remains fully enrolled and that Pre-K students persist to our Uncommon elementary schools;
- Serving as main point of contact for all operational needs, including maintaining student and staff policies;
- Participating actively on the School Leadership Team;
- Managing 1-2 operations staff members and overseeing the successful implementation of their workstreams (e.g., attendance, purchasing, invoice processing, enrollment, PK to Kindergarten Persistence, student and family events);
- Developing and managing daily systems and schedules;
- Ensures school-wide compliance with health and safety laws, teacher and staff certifications, and Pre-Kindergarten and Uncommon workplace regulations;
- Owning facilities management to ensure facilities are safe, well-maintained, and meet the needs of students and faculty;
- Any additional responsibilities identified by the RSO or school needs, including but not limited to coordinating with other Uncommon Pre-K sites.

Compensation
Compensation for this role is between $92,000 to $104,000. Most candidates who meet job description requirements will receive an offer of $92,000 - $98,000.
Starting pay is determined using various factors including but not limited to relevant professional development, education certifications, and tenure with Uncommon Schools.
