About Us:

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a passionate, friendly, and skilled Barista to join our team as we open our doors to the Greenpoint community. If you love crafting exceptional coffee, providing excellent customer service, and working in a vibrant, collaborative environment, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and matcha beverages
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders and espresso machines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including prep and closing duties
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Support café operations, including stocking supplies and handling transactions
• Assist in preparing light food items such as sandwiches, onigiri, and baked goods

Qualifications:

• Previous barista experience required; shift supervisor experience is a plus
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
• A passion for coffee, food, and fostering a community atmosphere

Schedule & Availability:

• Full-time or part-time positions available
• Flexible schedule preferred, including weekends
• Early morning availability is required

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage plus tips
