Summary
Fresh air, nature, and clean linens! This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors in some of the country's most popular national parks. As a Laundry Attendant, you play a critical role in what makes Under Canvas so unique, providing our guests with crisp linens and fresh towels as they sleep under the stars. Reporting to a Laundry Supervisor, you will work with a team of peers to clean and restock linens for a camp location. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain a supply of clean linens and towelsSort used linens, load washers, run the wash cycle, dry, fold, and restockAssist team members throughout the camp as necessary to ensure high standards of service for all guestsDemonstrate the stamina to work long hours in varying weather conditionsInteract regularly with co-workers and guests in a genuine, professional mannerDemonstrate the ability to problem solve independently or in collaboration with your team and / or supervisorEagerly seek opportunities to ensure guests have everything they needMaintain a clean laundry area and follow proper OSHA / HAZCOM proceduresWork efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standardsOther duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications

This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment, when applicable.This position requires that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 45lbs independently.Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking, standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and maneuvering in an outdoor environment on uneven surfaces.Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity, and wind.This position is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background check and / or motor vehicle records check, if requested by Under Canvas.This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of Under Canvas.
