Summary
As a Dining Room Manager, you will support the General Manager of Food and Beverage by leading the front of house team and completing delegated administrative tasks. You will ensure service, brand, and food safety standards are implemented and followed. You will work in the roles of server, host, food runner, barista, bartender and expeditor. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

Key Responsibilities
Thrive in a high-volume restaurant environmentRegularly execute a smooth dining experience through management the floor during service, expediting tickets, and maintaining a presence in Front of House and Back of HousePerform all Front of House roles as needed, including bartender, barista, server, and hostConfidently communicate with Back of HouseConfidently and professionally resolve guest issuesBe an expert on all front of house tasks and able to train team on best practices and on being guest-focusedActively maintain guest and team member safety by ensuring all food handling safety and storages pro tocols are implemented and tracked on logsEnsure a clean and safe workspace through completion of daily and weekly cleaning / deep cleaning checklists tasksMaintain neat, organized, and safely stored work and storage areas where FIFO is practiceAssist with all inventory practices including ordering, receiving, waste tracking, setting up count sheets, and completing physical inventory countsSupport GM of F&B with team member management through interviewing, scheduling, missed punch adjustments, and coaching conversationsKnow all drink recipes and ingredients, food item portions and ingredients, with special attention to allergensEnsure all guests are cheerfully attended to and that all service standards are followedLead by example, maintain composure, take action , and be solution-minded in unpredictable situations such as weather, diverse needs of guests, or incidents on propertyCollaborate and interact professionally, value teamwork, quickly step in to help others, resolve challenges with quick solutionsLearn and share knowledge of local area, culture, and on-site activitiesKeep a positive attitude, anticipate needs of your team and guestsSet clear expectations, provide accurate, complete, and timely communicationOther duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications
High SchoolDiploma / GEDPrevious restaurant leadership experience, including leading trainingExperience leading a team of 2-10 peopleFood HandlerCertification and TIPScard, Food Safety manager certification highly desired.Must be obtained byproperty opening date or before starting any work involving food or alcohol handling
Experience with POS systemsKnowledge of basicbaristaand bartending skillsExcellent communicatorExperience with conducting inventoriesAdditional Information
