Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Referee to officiate youth FLAG FOOTBALL games. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, particularly football/flag football, and the ability to manage game dynamics effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring fair play and maintaining the integrity of the game while fostering a positive environment for young athletes.

Duties

• Officiate flag football games by enforcing rules and regulations.
• Communicate clearly with players, coaches, and spectators regarding decisions made during the game.
• Manage conflicts on the field effectively to maintain a respectful atmosphere.
• Ensure player safety by monitoring gameplay and addressing any unsafe behavior.
• Provide guidance to players on rules and sportsmanship.
• Collaborate with other referees and officials to ensure consistent officiating throughout games.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to convey decisions and instructions clearly.
• Conflict management abilities to handle disputes calmly and effectively.
• Knowledge of league flag football rules and regulations.
• Experience working with children in a sports setting is preferred.
• Background in sports coaching is a plus, enhancing understanding of game dynamics.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 5 per week
