Job Summary
We are a new school scheduled to break ground Spring of 2025. We are seeking innovative new teachers to start with us Fall of 2026. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational requirements such as autism. The teacher will work collaboratively with parents, staff, and the community to support the academic and social development of each child.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support students with autism and other developmental needs.
- Utilize library services and resources to enhance the learning experience and promote literacy among students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices in childhood development.
- Engage in curriculum development initiatives that reflect Montessori principles and innovative teaching strategies.
- Provide tutoring support for students needing additional assistance outside regular classroom hours.
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school events.
Skills
