Underdog.io is a modern recruiting platform. One of our growing startup hiring partners is looking to hire a Founding UI/UX design professional to help shape the future of their products.
As a Founding UI/UX Designer, you'll be at the forefront of creating intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning user experiences that drive our product's success. You'll work closely with our product, engineering, and marketing teams to bring innovative ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring a seamless user experience across all platforms
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs
- Develop and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency across all product touchpoints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into elegant design solutions
- Stay updated on UI/UX trends and best practices, bringing innovative ideas to the team
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
