What you'll do :
Talent Strategy & Leadership
Own and execute Underdog’s talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term growth.
Partner with senior leadership to define hiring priorities, address challenges, and drive high-impact talent decisions.
Develop and implement a scalable hiring roadmap, optimizing processes while maintaining efficiency and quality.
Team Leadership & Execution
Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing TA team (15 recruiters and TA Ops), ensuring strong execution and accountability.
Establish and monitor key TA metrics and KPIs to track effectiveness, drive continuous improvement, and optimize hiring performance.
Implement a structured headcount planning process, ensuring alignment with company goals and growth strategy.
Oversee TA operations, optimizing tools, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency and recruiter effectiveness.
Employer Brand & Hiring Culture
Lead and execute an employer brand strategy that strengthens Underdog’s reputation as a top employer.
Ensure a rigorous, structured hiring process that upholds our high-performance standards and delivers a strong candidate experience.
Partner with hiring managers to refine evaluation criteria, improve hiring capabilities, and maintain consistency in decision-making.
Drive initiatives that embed hiring excellence into the company’s culture, ensuring long-term talent quality and business success.
Who you are :
Experienced Leader – 12 years in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within high-growth tech startups.
Proven Builder – Experience leading or playing a key role (#1 or #2) in a TA team of 15 , successfully scaling recruiting functions and operations in dynamic environments.
Data-Driven & Results-Oriented – Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to guide decision-making, measure success, and drive accountability.
Strategic Partner – Skilled at advising senior leaders, aligning hiring strategies with business objectives, and ensuring talent acquisition is a key driver of company success.
Employer Brand Advocate – Experienced in defining and executing employer branding initiatives that strengthen market positioning and attract top talent.
High-Performance Leader – Committed to developing and coaching teams, ensuring a strong hiring culture, and maintaining a high bar for talent.
