IT Audit Senior Associate
Hybrid | Locations: Dallas, TX | Tampa, FL | Jersey City, NJ
Compensation: Up to $110,000 base bonus
Overview:
Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking an IT Audit Senior Associate to lead and execute key technology audit initiatives. This role is essential to ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls and risk mitigation strategies across complex systems and infrastructure environments.
- Lead and execute IT audits across various business lines
- Evaluate IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, and security measures
- Conduct risk assessments and assist with annual audit planning
- Validate remediation of control issues and maintain thorough audit documentation
- Mentor junior audit staff and provide technical guidance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address control gaps and recommend improvements
- 2 years of IT audit experience
- Strong understanding of SDLC, change management, and infrastructure auditing
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Certifications: CISA, CRISC, CISSP (strongly preferred)
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
- Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Familiarity with infrastructure components and business continuity controls
- IT General Controls (ITGC)
- SDLC & Change Management
- Access and Security Controls
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
- Infrastructure: Networks, Servers, Databases
Note: This is a hybrid position with potential office locations in Dallas (75201), Tampa (33647), or Jersey City (07310).
Big 4 experience and CISA certification are strongly preferred.

- 2 years of IT audit experience
- Strong understanding of SDLC, change management, and infrastructure auditing
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
