Job Summary
In this position, under limited supervision Injection Molding Technicians complete both the set-up and are the process technician.

Essential Duties
- Startup and stabilization of all molding processes
- Responsible for all aspects of Injection Molding Process including, but not limited to, install/removal of molds, troubleshooting issues during mold changes, following proper documentation practices
- Install and remove molds, troubleshoot issues during mold changes following proper documentation practices
- Review setup sheets on all jobs to ensure quality parts are produced, and maximum productivity is obtained
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools and other means
- Prepare operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications
- Assist with material management including the processing of scrap and regrind produced
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshop & training
- Assist in resolving maintenance problems by conferring with management, engineering, and quality control personnel
- Adheres to all OSHA safety policies and regulations
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Plastic Injection Molding Experience: 3 Years
- Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year or technical school preferred; or two years of related experience and/or training in Mold Setup and Processing
- Knowledge of Nissei, or similar Injection Mold machines
- Must be flexible & a team player
- Strong work ethic, self-starter
- Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data
- Ability to operate machinery & the use of basic hand tools
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Frequently required to stand and stoop
- Requires manual dexterity
- Frequently lift and or move 10 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Manufacturing Plant and Warehouse working environment
