We are a general contractor looking to fill an immediate opening for a superintendent with experience in a hospital healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be an individual with experience with onsite construction day-to-day activities on a project job site and communicating to subcontractors on daily activities. Requirements : Able to perform all superintendent job responsibilities, enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training programs, prepare and maintain job schedule, develop owner and architects' confidence, prepare necessary reports (time sheets, work orders, daily reports, 3 week look ahead schedule) review drawings and submittals, prepare to communicate in weekly owner meetings, perform start up testing and turnover for owner and ability to supervise multiple trades and write RFIs clearly.
Minimum Skills or Experience : 10 years on HCAi projects, worked on projects $1M to $10M, 10 plus years in leadership roles on HCAi projects, responsible for staff development, knowledge of OSHA Laws, 30-hour OSHA Certification, strong sense of urgency, knowledge of scheduling, planning expediting and cost control.
