How does it work? Undue utilizes donations to buy large bundles of medical debt and then relieves that debt with no tax consequences to recipients. The results have been spectacular— more than $14.8 billion in medical debts eradicated so far, providing financial relief for over 9.3 million individuals and families. Undue is looking for Debt Operations Project Manager. This role is best for someone who is skilled at configuring and optimizing project management processes in a dynamic environment and has good interpersonal skills.
Undue’s offices are located in Long Island City, NY, just minutes from Manhattan, conveniently located steps away from many major subway lines. The team has implemented and fully embraced a hybrid work environment, working from the office only 3 days per week. This position can be fully remote for a person not in the NYC area.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Debt Operations Project Manager manages administrative functions related to medical debt acquisition including marketing to provider partners, tracking of leads, managing materials to share with potential debt sources, tracking of the debt pipeline, managing CRM settings, and tracking legal documents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Tracking Debt Acquisition Pipeline of Debt Sources and Files
- Create and manage periodic reporting for the Debt Operations team and others across the organization by leveraging CRM and other software.
- Coordinate activities within debt operations and other departments such as marketing/communications, philanthropy, infosystems and Finance
- Maintain customer’s confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
Project Management
- Manage Debt Operations team use of Undue’s project management software, enabling and supporting a smooth operational flow.
- Manage and update policies, procedures, and processes related to Debt Operations.
- Support flow of legal documents and signatures ensuring accuracy and tracking
- Support the VP and AVP with reporting and budgeting needs
- Support the VP and AVP in evaluating potential CRM or Project Management software and providing the COO with reports on pipeline and purchases and KPIs as needed.
Admin Support
- Help plan and manage team meetings
- Contributes effectively to the collective team effort

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- 3 years relevant experience as a project manager or other administrator in a dynamic environment
- Solid interpersonal skills to help get team cooperation with tracking and changes
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Base annual salary $80,000-100,000 for candidates located in the NYC area, commensurate with experience.
