Part Time Bookkeeper

Burnsville South Cub on County Road 42 is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part time bookkeeping position! Bookkeeping team members at Cub provides management with accurate and timely reporting of the store’s cash flow and ensuring proper security and confidentiality. This position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service!

Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
• Perform daily store accounting procedures.
• Balance and reconcile all cashier (operator) reports used to reconcile with drawer. Communicate with management regarding over/shorts.
• Conduct security procedures for store bookkeeping office, information, and contents.
• Ensure properly handling of all forms of tender and coupons.
• Follow all store and department policies and procedures.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.).
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Memorization, reading, writing and math.
• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 16 years of age and older.
