Unger Enterprises, a BISSELL, Inc. subsidiary is looking for a Divisional Chief Financial Officer.  This position will report to the CEO, Unger Enterprises and we be located in Bridgeport, Connecticut (strongly preferred) or Grand Rapids, MI (Bissell Headquarters) however fully remote candidates that are highly qualified will also be considered.

POSITION OVERVIEW 
Unger is seeking a high-potential, hands-on Divisional CFO to lead the finance function 
within the division. This position will oversee all financial operations of our multinational 
subsidiary, including financial reporting and analysis, accounting, tax, and cash flow 
management, in addition to providing strategic financial guidance to drive the subsidiary’s 
growth and profitability.  The Divisional CFO will also collaborate with BISSELL’s corporate 
teams across several of the key finance and accounting functions.   
This role will also maintain a strong dotted-line relationship with the CFO of Bissell, Inc.  
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with operational finance capabilities, who can lead 
a lean finance team, drive performance metrics, and provide insight into ongoing 
commercial and supply chain decisions. 
This position is ideal for a finance leader looking to step into a broader business-partnering 
role with visibility across all aspects of the P&L, while gaining exposure to other divisions 
within Bissell.   
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Serve as a strategic and operational partner to the Divisional CEO, supporting decision
making across commercial, operational, and supply chain functions. 
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes for Unger 
Enterprises. 
• Maintain accountability for divisional P&L performance, working cross-functionally to 
drive profitability and margin expansion. 
• Collaborate with Bissell corporate finance team on consolidated reporting, compliance, 
and group-level planning. 
• Provide financial oversight on cost structure, pricing strategy, working capital, and 
capital expenditures. 
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in 
accordance with corporate guidelines. 
• Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations and standards. 
• Demonstrated understanding of general tax compliance requirements for multinational 
operations, including transfer pricing and local tax regulations. Experience working 
with tax advisors to ensure all reporting and regulatory requirements are met. 
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and analytics capabilities within 
the finance function. 
• Support integration and transformation initiatives related to the acquisition, shared 
services, and KPI alignment. 
• Lead and develop a small finance and accounting team based in Bridgeport and 
remotely. 
• Provide financial analysis and business case support for product launches, commercial 
partnerships, and operational initiatives. 
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE 
• 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with prior operational CFO experience, 
with a track record in, accounting, or business unit finance leadership in a 
manufacturing or branded products environment. 
• Prior experience in a division or subsidiary of a larger enterprise, ideally within a  M&A
influenced setting. 
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and supply chain finance. 
• Solid foundation in financial systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools) and analytics. 
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, and influence 
senior stakeholders. 
• Ability to travel 10-20% (flexible)(Headquarters/Germany/Michigan...) 
• High level of integrity, work ethic, and adaptability. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,; MBA or CPA preferred.
