Basketball Coach

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Basketball Coach to join Unguardable athletics! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in basketball and experience working with students in a coaching capacity. This role involves developing athletes' skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive environment that encourages personal growth and athletic excellence.

Duties

• Plan and conduct basketball practices, focusing on skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
• Coach athletes during games, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
• Develop training programs tailored to individual athletes' needs and abilities.
• Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Organize and manage team events, including games, tournaments, and community outreach activities.
• Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, and inclusivity.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration regarding team goals and expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly basketball.
• Experience working with students in an educational or athletic setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of basketball techniques, strategies, and rules of the game.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes to achieve their best.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with students and their families.

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• After school
• Evening shift
• Every weekend
• Rotating weekends
