Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. As a Housekeeper/Laundry, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facility. Your primary duties will include laundering clothes, and cleaning guest rooms and common areas.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Sort, organize, and maintain inventory of clean linens
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning chemicals
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
