Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance duties to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Duties: - Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment - Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance - Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and tenants - Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) - Fabricate or modify parts as needed using various tools and equipment - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Experience: To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications: - Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC/R, and plumbing - Experience with low voltage and high voltage systems - Proficiency in stick welding and other fabrication techniques - Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities - Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written If you are a motivated individual with a passion for maintaining facilities and equipment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
