OVERVIEW
Responsible for managing aspects of organizational marketing. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, assists leadership with negotiating service contracts with managed care organizations and other payers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand importance of meeting quotas such as volume of referrals and admissions, expense data, and public relations quotas with potential or established stakeholders.
Maintains weekly marketing schedule and visit minimum of 7 to 10 account visits daily.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.
Build and monitor community, customer, payer and patient/client perceptions of employer services and care.
Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of employer services and care markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor's market positioning.
Seek and analyze competitor marketing material and digital content.
As needed, assist in planning and hosting marketing events.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for the development of marketing campaigns and strategies.
Understand and adhere to all laws, statutes and regulations regarding anti-kickback, lawful marketing activities (gifts and services), solicitation, and accurate marketing materials.
Provide input regarding employer services and care for strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by employer.
Monitor and report cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts. Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., social media).
