Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightclub environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the bar area, assisting with drink preparation, and ensuring that all supplies are stocked and ready for service.
Duties
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock the bar with necessary supplies such as ice, garnishes, glassware, and liquor.
- Help with food preparation as needed, ensuring that all items are ready for service.
- Buss tables and clear away empty glasses or plates to maintain a tidy environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to handle food preparation tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is advantageous.
