Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet or catering events to ensure seamless service.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies when necessary.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu offerings to provide recommendations to guests.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Experience working in a nightclub or high-energy bar environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation methods is a plus.
- Familiarity with banquet service and catering operations enhances service quality.
- Proficient in using cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for managing tabs and processing payments effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
