Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining area, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. As a Busser, you will assist servers and contribute to an inviting atmosphere for all patrons.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals to prepare for the next guests.
- Assist in setting up tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Help with food service tasks such as refilling drinks and delivering food to tables when necessary.
- Support the overall operations of the restaurant by assisting with any additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing an excellent dining experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and guests.
- A proactive attitude towards keeping the restaurant clean and organized.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds as part of daily duties.
