**Job Summary:**
As the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will play a key role in assisting with the management of the restaurant to ensure that services and products align with the Lodge's policies and procedures. This position requires full flexibility including working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Assist in training all service personnel according to lodge standards.
- Oversee the overall operation of the food & beverage outlets.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle service recovery as needed.
- Manage complete service in the Dining Room in the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Have knowledge of P&L statements, budgets, and PAF.
- Coordinate and improve interdepartmental communications in collaboration with the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Implement a gracious hospitality program.
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Conduct monthly uniform inventory checks.
- Enforce sanitation program at all times.
- Promptly submit any accident/incident reports.
- Provide suggestions to increase sales turnover.
- Inspect the cashier/greeter stand daily for cleanliness.
- Monitor the grooming of all associates while on duty.
- Collaborate with the Manager to improve operations, solve problems, address inefficiencies, and suggest necessary changes.
- Assist in cleaning the restaurant and participate in monthly inspections.
**Education and Experience:**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
