**Job Summary:**
The Housekeeper is responsible for assisting room attendants with supplies, linen, and trash removal. This position also involves maintaining public areas and hallways to ensure high standards and quality of cleaning.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
**Morning Routine:**
- Check hallways and remove trash.
- Assist room attendants with needed supplies.
- Collect dirty glasses and coffee mugs, replacing them with clean ones.
- Clean hallway windows, elevator doors, ashtrays, and lights.
- Empty trash in vending rooms and clean machines.
- Sweep, mop floors, and vacuum vending areas.
- Restock clean linen and supplies as needed.
**Throughout the day:**
- Empty dirty linen and trash from room attendants' carts.
- Strip check-out rooms and remove all dirty linen and trash.
- Clean elevator landings, doors, and light fixtures.
- Vacuum hallways and assist room attendants when necessary.
- Dispose of trash.
- Remove scuff marks from hallway walls.
- Complete daily projects.
- Clean grills and vents in guests' hallways.
**End of the day:**
- Complete vacuuming of all assigned floors.
- Empty all dirty linen and trash from room attendants' carts.
- Check all floors for room service trays.
- Clean closets and service areas as needed.
- Wash dirty glasses and cups.
- Neatly line up dirty linen carts in the back hall.
**Other Responsibilities:**
- Deliver and remove cots, cribs, and other items from guest rooms as required.
- Spot clean windows and window ledges.

- Arrive at work on time and leave as scheduled.
- Adhere to grooming and dress standards.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
