At least 1-year experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or

Key Responsibilities
- Client intake and assessment: Conducting initial interviews to gather information about clients' mental health needs, presenting issues, and relevant personal history.
- Diagnosis and treatment planning: Utilizing clinical knowledge to diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Individual therapy sessions: Providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to discuss their concerns, emotions, and experiences during one-on-one sessions.
- Group therapy facilitation: Leading group therapy sessions to address common themes or provide peer support to multiple clients simultaneously.
- Crisis intervention: Responding to immediate mental health crises and providing necessary support in emergencies.
- Coping skills development: Teaching clients effective coping mechanisms to manage stress, anxiety, and other symptoms.
- Collaboration with other professionals: Consulting with other healthcare providers, social workers, or family members to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support.
- Documentation and record keeping: Maintaining detailed client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and billing information.
- Ethical practice: Adhering to professional ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
- Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- State licensure as a mental health counselor (depending on the jurisdiction)
- At least one of the Required Licensure: LISW, LSW, LCP, LPCC
- Experience with different therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge of mental health disorders and their treatment options
- Child and adolescent counseling: Focus on providing therapy to children and adolescents
- Substance abuse counseling: Assisting individuals struggling with addiction issues
- Marital and family therapy: Working with couples and families to address relationship challenges
- Trauma-focused therapy: Supporting individuals who have experienced traumatic events
At least 1-year experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or
At least 1-year experience as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
