What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Maintenance Engineer/ Senior Automation Engineer position at Unicon Pharma Inc?
As a Senior Automation Engineer focused on modernization, you will design, develop, and implement automation solutions to support our modernization strategy. You will optimize existing systems, integrate new technologies, and enhance operational efficiency, while reducing manual efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in process / equipment for cGMP manufacturing, particularly in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.
Core Essential Skills sets candidates must have :
- Proficiency in programming languages such as TSQL, VB, or C#.
- Experience with Industrial automation tools and Vendor platforms (e.g., Rockwell Automation, TwinCat 3, Siemens, B&R, Elau).
- Experience or Core certification within Ignition version 8 or greater. Gold certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 Networking, VM Management, Windows based PCs
- Experience specifying controls hardware to fit application within Legacy systems
- Experience of implementation at scale of industrial projects
- Understanding of modern industrial controls development methodologies and architectures.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical or Chemical engineering or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
