Job Title: Operations Supervisor
The Operations Supervisor oversees and coordinates team activities related to the operation, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment in accordance with TSA, DOT, USPS, and OSHA regulations.
This role involves coaching, counseling, and mentoring employees, enforcing Company policies and procedures, and promoting safety, anti-harassment, and equal employment opportunity practices.
The ideal candidate will have four years of relevant experience, excellent customer service skills, and strong work ethic. They must be able to communicate effectively, possess strong leadership qualities, and be able to apply creative solutions that positively impact results.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of assigned shift/station
- Promoting team-building initiatives and performing coaching/mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members
- Performing other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position
Physical demands require lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling items of 70 pounds or more on a regular basis, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and stooping frequently for extended periods.
