Airport Customer Service Supervisor
The Airport Passenger Agent Supervisor is responsible for overseeing employees during their assigned shifts to ensure daily activities are performed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises and coordinates daily activities of employees to ensure safe and effective Wheelchair Service operations.
- Monitors and enforces safe working habits in accordance with OSHA, TSA, DOT, USPS regulations, Unifi policies, and safety procedures, as well as all applicable laws.
- Responsible for shift schedule, including workstation assignments, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignments, backup for absent employees, and shift rotations.
- Enforces company policies and procedures, including disciplinary action, and promotes Unifi policies on Equal Employment Opportunity, professional conduct, and diversity initiatives. Investigates and responds to employee relations issues in a timely manner.
- Schedules and conducts shift meetings.
- Completes shift paperwork and performs other administrative functions.
- Performs job duties of assigned shift, including flight plans, weather reports, passenger lists, aircraft fuel communications, manages the turnaround of an aircraft from arrival to departure, responds to emergencies, records, and maintains logs and reports of dispatch information.
Requirements:
- Must be a local (in-state) resident.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport identification security.
- Able to communicate information and instructions verbally or via radio equipment.
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to create a passionate and efficient workforce.
- Ability to apply creative solutions that have a positive impact on results.
- Computer systems knowledge.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment.
Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment. Able to work outdoors daily (sun, rain, sleet, or snow).
