At Unifi, we are seeking a dedicated Airport FT Ramp Agent to join our team. As a key member of our airport operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of aircraft, baggage, and cargo. Your primary duties will include loading, unloading, and directing customer aircraft, as well as safeguarding their belongings from damage or loss. You will also operate various motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, and deicers, while maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety. Additionally, you will receive and record customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials, prepare records, and complete paperwork connected with work assignments. To succeed in this role, you must possess a valid In-State Driver's License, ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and undergo up to a 10-year background check. Moreover, you must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the United States, and complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security. The ideal candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, preferably one year of relevant experience.
