Responsibilities for a Lavatory Service Driver
- Drives/operates lavatory equipment and vehicles in a safe manner. Uses and works from lift equipment to heights at approximately 40 feet to service aircraft.
- Service all Inbound/Outbound Aircraft Lavatories.
- Maintains appropriate logs and records in accordance with company procedures.
- Fuels truck and performs daily safety checks in accordance with safety policies and OSHA regulations. Maintains the interior and exterior cleanliness of the trucks.
- Ships and receives supply orders; restocks inventory daily.
- Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
- Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
- Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
- Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
Qualifications for a Lavatory Service Driver
- Must be a local (in-state) resident
- Candidate should be able to speak and understand English
- Valid In-State Driver’s License
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School or GED
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must complete SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
