Job Duties:
- Responsible for the final assembly of catering carts in the commissary department.
- Receive inbound used inventory from aircraft and rebuild/replenish to correct specifications to be used and boarded on a new flight.
- Review flight bills to determine what items are required for each flight.
- Stage carts correctly at the loading dock according to the flight number.
- Responsible for packing carts with ice, soda, snacks, beverages, dishware, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must be a local (in-state) resident.
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid In-State Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
- Must have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
- Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
Working conditions:
- Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
- Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
