Ramp Service Agent Job Description:
As a Ramp Service Agent with Unifi, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of cargo and baggage at our airport facilities. Your responsibilities will include handling cargo and baggage responsibilities, including directing and servicing aircraft and related activities on the airport ramp. You will also be responsible for lifting, loading/unloading, sorting, and transferring passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts in a safe manner. Additionally, you will receive and record customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required, pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, and prepare records in connection with these responsibilities. Utilizing computer software to track and catalogue luggage is also a critical part of this role.
Responsibilities:
- Handle cargo and baggage responsibilities, including directing and servicing aircraft and related activities on the airport ramp
- Lift, load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts in a safe manner
- Receive and record customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required
- Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, and prepare records in connection with these responsibilities

Requirements:
- Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Completion of ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not necessary
