Job Title
OGG Alaska Full Handling Ramp Service Agent PM/RR
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading aircraft, guiding customers to their destinations, and ensuring the safety of baggage, air cargo, and airmail.
- Lifting, loading/unloading, sorting, and transferring passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts safely.
- Operating pushback equipment and maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers to prevent any hazards.
- Receiving and recording customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required.
- Picking up, delivering, and transporting cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and preparing records related to these tasks.
- Operating various motorized equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers, or manually pushing and pulling push carts and containers.
- Completing paperwork and forms connected with work assignments, including procedures and entering information into the Company's system as necessary.
Requirements:
- Must be a local (in-state) resident.
- Valid In-State Driver's License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
- Physical ability to lift/carry/push/pull and move items weighing 70 pounds or more regularly and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
- Frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and stooping for extended periods.
- Ability to work in cramped or high places.
- Carrying heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Preferred Qualifications: One year of relevant experience.
