Ramp Operations Specialist Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ramp Operations Specialist to join our team at Unifi. As a key member of our ground crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of customer aircraft, baggage, and air cargo.
Responsibilities:
* Safeguard customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather-related damage, loss, theft, or destruction
* Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts
* Operate pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safe operation
* Receive and record customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required
* Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and prepare records accordingly
Requirements:
* Must be a local resident and have authorization to work in the United States
* Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
* Ability to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment
