Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of customer aircraft, baggage, and cargo. This will involve operating various types of equipment, including belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift, load, unload, sort, and transfer heavy objects in a safe and efficient manner.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to operate motorized equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers.
- Must be a local (in-state) resident.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
Working Conditions: The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, frequently exposed to noise, dust, and extreme temperatures. Physical stamina and endurance are essential for this role.
