The Role

As Service Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving service revenue growth through lead generation, qualification, and closing of sales. In doing so, you will develop a territory sales plan utilizing marketing, distribution, and direct sales resources to set up new accounts and expand existing account services. You will call on existing equipment scale customers, previous service customers, and new prospective customers.

What A Day In The Life Is Like

  • Open New Accounts and Increase Market Share
  • Cold Calling and Lead Generation: Spend part of your day connecting with potential customers, introducing them to UniFide CST's service offerings. You’ll also follow up on warm leads and referrals to grow your territory
  • Expanding Existing Accounts: Leverage relationships with current clients to identify new service opportunities. Share tailored solutions that meet their specific needs
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Develop and execute a business/territory marketing plan to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Identify Key Accounts: Research and maintain a pipeline of present and future key accounts, keeping all data up-to-date in the CRM system
  • Customer Engagement
  • Build Relationships: Establish trust and rapport with existing and potential clients by proactively reaching out, understanding their needs, and offering timely solutions
  • One-on-One Sales Calls: Visit customer sites to demonstrate UniFide CST’s capabilities and propose customized service packages
  • Leverage Social Media: Engage with customers through online platforms to foster connections and share updates on service offerings
  • Customer Retention: Follow up on service satisfaction surveys, encourage feedback, and ensure customer agreements are renewed promptly
  • Proposal and Contract Management
  • Tailored Proposals: Prepare and present detailed service proposals that align with customer objectives and budgets
  • Strategic Negotiation: Negotiate agreements, terms, conditions, and modifications
  • Contract Administration: Manage the lifecycle of customer contracts, from setup to closeout, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Collaborative Selling
  • Upselling Opportunities: Partner with service technicians to identify additional solutions for customers during service calls
  • Reactivating Dormant Accounts: Reconnect with past customers to regain their business and introduce them to updated service offerings
  • Competitor Conversion: Reach out to customers currently working with competitors

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of related experience in business-to-business sales
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to customer locations and trade shows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior sales, project management, and/or technical knowledge of the analytical instrument sales market
  • Prior scale and weighing equipment experience
