Job Overview

Unified Boxing Club, a premier boxing gym located in Hollywood, is looking for a driven and experienced Sales & Community Engagement Coordinator to join our growing team. As the Sales & Community Engagement Coordinator, you will take charge of managing all sales inquiries, fostering strong business-to-business relationships with local businesses and neighboring apartment complexes, and ensuring that our members have an exceptional experience. With a year of successful operations under our belt, Unified Boxing Club is now ready to expand and elevate its member retention strategy, and we need a dedicated individual to help us drive that vision. This is a vital role for someone who thrives in customer-focused environments and is passionate about delivering excellent service while building long-lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Inquiries Management: Handle and respond to all inbound sales inquiries, ensuring that prospective members receive timely, informative, and personalized responses.
  • Business-to-Business Development: Develop and manage relationships with local businesses, neighboring apartment complexes, and organizations to build partnerships, increase memberships, and expand our community presence.
  • Member Retention: Create and implement strategies that enhance member satisfaction and reduce attrition, ensuring a positive and welcoming gym environment.
  • Member Experience: Ensure that all members have an exceptional experience from the moment they inquire about the gym to their daily visits, addressing concerns, needs, and feedback promptly.
  • Data Management: Monitor member activity and trends, utilizing data to proactively engage with members and provide customized solutions to enhance their experience.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with members to foster a sense of community and loyalty within the gym.
  • Communication & Support: Work closely with the team to communicate member feedback and implement improvements to both the sales process and overall experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or gym-related fields is preferred. A background in managing member retention or business development is a plus.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and positively with prospects, members, and business partners.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple sales inquiries, business partnerships, and member relationships while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Problem Solving: Strong ability to handle member concerns or issues with empathy, professionalism, and quick resolution.
  • Customer-Focused: A passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring members feel valued and supported.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems to manage inquiries, track leads, and monitor member retention efforts.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.66 - $22.09 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
