The CFO oversees and is entrusted to optimize the financial and accounting operations and is responsible for directing the financial functions of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This executive position will also embrace value added finance and drive strategic financial decision making, financial operations, and company goals to create value and leverage finance as a competitive edge in the market.
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures
- Participate in the development of the corporation’s plans and programs as a strategic partner
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance
- Provides timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist ownership in performing their responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local requirements, consulting with outside advisors and filing financial reports
- Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.
- Engages with Clients, Subcontractors, and Project Managers on matters of managing project cost, contract adherence, and Accounts Payable.
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
- Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
- Maintains and prepares all financial documents necessary for multi-state tax preparation.
- Prepare monthly Payroll, federal and state tax filings.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is responsible for the direct supervision of the employees in the accounting and administrative department.
Working conditions
Hybrid in the Broomfield, CO office and work from home with flexible hours of work. Minimal travel is expected for this position. This is a full-time position, reporting to the CEO and COO.
